SAA Global Education Awarded Full EduTrust Certification

Singapore, 27 October 2011 – SAA Global Education (SAA-GE), the training arm of the national accountancy body the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS), has been awarded the full EduTrust Certification. This is in recognition of its continuing efforts to provide higher standards of private education and for maintaining robust academic systems and processes.

Administered by the Council for Private Education (CPE) Singapore, the full EduTrust Certification lasts for four years and is awarded to companies who have done well in implementing quality academic processes, sound corporate governance and administration policies, student support services and demonstrating management dedication amongst other stringent criteria.

According to the Committee to Develop the Accountancy Sector (CDAS), having a robust accounting education platform is one of the “strategic thrusts” identified that will help drive transformation and contribute to the overall growth of the local accountancy sector .

Going forward, SAA-GE will continue to develop its strengths in content delivery, service innovation and talent development to meet the needs of the accounting and finance ecosystem. It will also grow its facilities and infrastructure in accordance with its strategic role as a trusted regional education partner.
