Creative Industries
Creative industries, according to MICA, are defined as ‘industries which are inspired by cultural and artistic creativity and have the potential to create economic value through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property,’ classifying them broadly into arts, media, design, and software and IT services.
More specifically, graduates may find employment in one of these sectors:
- advertising
- architecture
- art and antiques
- computer and video games
- crafts
- design
- designer fashion
- film and video
- music
- performing arts
- publishing
- software
- TV and radio.
